Pork Chops with Spicy Glaze



Ingredients:

  • 1 Shallot, thinly sliced

  • 4 Pork Chops

  • 3 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

  • 4 Tbsp Cherry Jam

  • 2 Tbsp Cielito Mio Gourmet Salsa with Dried Chiles

Directions:

  • Pat dry pork chops with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add pork and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side. Turn off heat; remove from pan and set aside.

  • Heat a drizzle of oil in the pan used for pork over medium heat. Add shallot and cook, stirring, until lightly browned. Add vinegar and simmer until slightly reduced 30-60 seconds. Add jam, Cielito Mio Gourmet Salsa with Dried Chiles and ½ cup of water. Cook until thickened, 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Return pork to pan; turn to coat in sauce.

Tips:

  • Serve with grilled vegetables or salad

  • You can use any other jam flavor you have on hand
