1 Shallot, thinly sliced
4 Pork Chops
3 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
4 Tbsp Cherry Jam
2 Tbsp Cielito Mio Gourmet Salsa with Dried Chiles
Pat dry pork chops with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add pork and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side. Turn off heat; remove from pan and set aside.
Heat a drizzle of oil in the pan used for pork over medium heat. Add shallot and cook, stirring, until lightly browned. Add vinegar and simmer until slightly reduced 30-60 seconds. Add jam, Cielito Mio Gourmet Salsa with Dried Chiles and ½ cup of water. Cook until thickened, 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Return pork to pan; turn to coat in sauce.
Serve with grilled vegetables or salad
You can use any other jam flavor you have on hand
